A family craft

Mike learned beekeeping beside his grandfather.

What began in 2010 with Thomas Allen grew into a lifelong respect for bees, good ingredients, and the people who bring local markets to life.

By 2011, the first family honey brand—Z’s Bees—was born. Mike later owned and operated the Killeen Farmers Market, sharing fresh honey and bee products directly with the community. Today, Mike’s Bees carries that same hands-on spirit forward.

“Keep it natural. Make it well. Treat every customer like a neighbor.”

Quick answers about raw honey, oatmeal soap, Pair & Save pricing, and bee-removal requests.

Why does raw honey crystallize?+

Place your jar of honey in the windshield of your vehicle on a hot day, or leave it in a sunny window in your kitchen to naturally decrystallize.

How does Pair & Save work?+

Get 10% off each honey-and-soap pair or each two-jar honey pair. Qualifying products are paired automatically, and the offers do not stack.

What should I do if I find a swarm?+

Give the bees space, keep children and pets away, and avoid spraying them. Send Mike a wide photo and a close-up using the assessment form.

Where do you ship?+

Orders can ship to all 50 U.S. states. International shipping is offered where the selected carrier and destination rules allow it. Live checkout will calculate available services and charges.

Does this website take live orders or requests?+
